Design Shanghai Picks Award to BEdesign
BEdesign's Fan Stool has won the Design Pick Award at Asia's leading international design event, the Design Shanghai fair, held 14-17th March 2018. A panel of selected judges chose Fan Stool as a design product that "appeals and inspires, and speaks the design language of Design Shanghai".

The inspiration behind Fan Stool's unique shape comes from sun rays seeping through a forest of birch trees, a scenery that for many is distinctively Finnish. Fan Stool gathered a lot of attention at Design Shanghai due to its unique bent plywood legs, a design method that has been used in Finnish design for years. It gives the stool a unique and minimalistic look, a fresh design honoring the classic shape.
