BEdesign custom-made designs featured in the new Solo Sokos Hotel Turun Seurahuone
BEdesign custom designed mirrors are featured in the new rooms of elegant and luxurious 1920’s hotel Solo Sokos Hotel Turun Seurahuone.
Art Deco inspired interior and pearls served as inspiration as BEdesign designed mirrors for the new interior of Solo Sokos Hotel Turun Seurahuone in Turku, Finland.

When you think of the twenties you think of glamour, luxury and joyfulness which transfers into many beautiful and carefully thought out details in the interior, including bold geometry, pearls and exciting shapes. Influenced by 20’s cabaréts and handbags, elements such as pearls and bold exuberant shapes are featured in the custom designed mirror by BEdesign.
"We wanted to include these elements in the design, bringing the decorative style of the twenties and a modern freshness into the hotel room interior. The pearl is also a symbol for the hotel which makes it a natural element in the mirror, giving it a certain lightness and elegance to it." - designer and co-founder Bette Eklund

The hotel is a beautiful example of extraordinary architecture, designed by renowned architects Erik Bryggman and Ilmari Ahonen in 1928. The refurbishment of the hotel started in 2017, and the new interior design is designed by interior architect Jaakko Puro of interior and architect studio firm Puroplan.
Solo Sokos Hotel Turun Seurahuone has 140 rooms and is located in central Turku, opening its doors to guests as of 1.4.2019.
